WCARG Repeaters and Winlink Stations

WCARG Analog Repeater

The WCARG repeater operates on 146.86 with a DCS (Digital Coded Squelch) of 631. (The CTCSS tone of 131.8 is no longer used.) The repeater is located about 7 miles south of Huntsville just north of New Waverly.

The repeater can be accessed via Echolink. The Echolink node is 970435 and identified as W5HVL-R. It is normally available only during our Monday night nets. However, it can be brought up at other times on request by contacting Russ Cooper, NR5US.

WCARG Digital Repeater

The WCARG digital Fusion repeater with WIRES-X access operates on 146.64. It is connected to the "Texas Patriots" room (No. 60755) hosted by NY5A.
