Regular Club Meetings

Monthly meetings are held each month at 9 AM on the 2nd Saturday except December when we have a Christmas party instead. For details of the meeting, see the panel to the left.

Beginning in January, 2023, we will meet on the 2nd Saturday.

Hams & Eggs Breakfast

We meet at 9 AM every Saturday on which there is not a regular club meeting at Denny's, 3016 W. 11th St., Huntsville to share ideas and get to know each other better. Anyone interested in amateur radio, licensed or not, is welcome to attend.

Weekly Net

WCARG conducts a net every Monday on the Huntsville W5HVL repeater (146.86, DCS 631) at 7 PM local time. All licensed amateur radio operators are welcome to check in and participate.

Field Day

We participate in Field Day every June. Come to club meetings for details.

Weather Reporting

The club participates in weather reporting activities in the County in cooperation with Walker County ARES. ARES provides periodic training in weather spotting. If you observe severe weather, please take appropriate photos and forward to the club Weather Reporting Coordinator.

Christmas Party

The Christmas party in December serves as the meeting for that month. We serve a pot luck dinner and conduct an auction of equipment donated by members with proceeds going to the club treasury for club projects.
